In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Elixir-based services that power innovative software products. You will work across the full technology stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions. Accountabilities As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Elixir services supporting core products. Work across the full technology stack, including infrastructure and application code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on project priorities and deadlines. Troubleshoot technical issues, including software outages, security risks, and deployment challenges. Conduct research and prototyping initiatives with minimal supervision. Participate in constructive code reviews and collaborate with UX designers to enhance product usability. Prepare and contribute to team meetings, sharing insights and updates. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of professional experience with Elixir-based software development. Strong understanding of frameworks and technologies such as Elixir, React, PostgreSQL, and LaunchDarkly. Experience with SQL, database management, and handling migrations. Hands-on experience with Git version control and CI/CD workflows. Knowledge of defensive security strategies for client and server systems. Ability to read and adapt unfamiliar codebases safely and efficiently. Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and pragmatic design skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
