This role offers the chance to design, build, and maintain a cutting-edge data platform that powers analytics, machine learning, and operational systems. The Software Engineer will work on developing scalable data pipelines, optimizing warehouses, and supporting real-time streaming and MLOps workflows. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, reliability, and security while enabling advanced analytics and AI at scale. Accountabilities · Design, implement, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines to support analytics and machine learning workloads. · Build and optimize data platforms and warehouses for scalability, reliability, and efficiency. · Ensure data infrastructure meets industry standards for security, governance, and regulatory compliance. · Assist in re-architecting batch pipelines to real-time streaming pipelines to support operational and ML needs. · Establish and maintain MLOps workflows, including feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights. · Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and platform issues to maintain smooth operations. · 3–7 years of software engineering experience in data platforms or similar roles. · Expertise in Apache Spark for large-scale data processing. · Strong production-level Python programming skills. · Advanced SQL skills for ETL processes and data manipulation. · Experience with real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis. · Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model deployment, feature engineering, and monitoring. · Preferred: experience with Databricks, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, or AWS. · Strong problem-solving skills and an “act-like-an-owner” mentality with a bias toward action. · Competitive base salary and stock options. · Comprehensive health benefits from Day 1. · 401(k) plan with company match. · Remote-friendly (US) with flexible time off (FTO). · Opportunities for professional growth and development. · Inclusive, mission-driven culture where your work has tangible impact.
