This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer (All Levels) based in United States. This remote engineering opportunity is designed for software professionals across multiple career levels, from experienced individual contributors to technical leaders. You’ll build and enhance modern digital products across frontend and backend environments using cloud-native engineering practices. The role offers hands-on opportunities to work with Java, Spring, JavaScript, React, APIs, databases, and distributed systems. Engineers are encouraged to apply test-driven development, paired programming, continuous integration, and agile methodologies. As your level increases, you’ll take on greater ownership of technical decisions, mentoring, architecture, and cross-team collaboration. Senior and Lead engineers will help shape engineering practices, influence product strategy, and guide complex system design. The environment emphasizes continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, customer-focused development, and modern software delivery. \n Accountabilities Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications and services across the full technology stack. Participate in iteration planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile development practices. Apply test-driven development, paired programming, continuous integration, and continuous delivery to produce reliable, maintainable software. Build frontend experiences and backend services using modern application frameworks, APIs, databases, caching, and messaging systems. Contribute to technical decisions by balancing simplicity, scalability, performance, maintainability, and customer needs. Support production applications and resolve technical issues affecting users and software products. Share technical knowledge and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Mentor and coach less-experienced engineers, helping strengthen engineering capabilities and adoption of effective development practices. At Lead level, contribute technical strategy during product inception, shape backlogs, guide complex architecture decisions, and influence engineering direction across products. Lead or facilitate retrospectives and continuous-improvement initiatives focused on team effectiveness, delivery quality, and engineering practices. Requirements Consultant II: At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience. Senior Consultant I & II: At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with increasing independence in complex development work. Lead: At least 5 years of experience with demonstrated technical leadership and the ability to influence engineering direction. Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, object-oriented design, and modern software engineering practices. Professional experience with Java, Spring, JavaScript, and React. Backend development experience involving APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, caching, and messaging systems. Frontend development experience building responsive web or mobile applications. Familiarity with cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery. Ability to work effectively in agile teams and collaborate through paired programming, knowledge sharing, and iterative development. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently on increasingly complex technical challenges. For senior and lead-level roles, demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, contribute to technical decisions, and communicate effectively across product and engineering teams. For Lead-level positions, experience influencing architecture, technical strategy, cross-product collaboration, and complex system design is expected. Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access and a dedicated, private workspace suitable for professional work. Benefits Annual compensation range of $85,000–$145,075, based on experience and qualifications. Fully remote work within the United States.
