This role provides a unique opportunity to design, implement, and productize AI-driven software solutions with a focus on leveraging hardware accelerators. The successful candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment alongside engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance AI platform performance. You will contribute to integrating AI frameworks into scalable, secure, and high-performance systems, experimenting with emerging technologies and AI-assisted development tools. This role emphasizes mentorship, technical leadership, and hands-on problem solving, offering exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies and open-source ecosystems while delivering impactful solutions at scale. Accountabilities · Lead the design, packaging, and productization of software components for AI platforms optimized for hardware accelerators. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, and Support to prioritize features and resolve issues. · Develop architectural and design principles ensuring performance, resilience, scalability, security, and maintainability. · Explore emerging AI technologies and incorporate them into workflows, tools, and development practices. · Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate coding, improve quality, and generate intelligent solutions. · Mentor junior engineers and support their skill development while fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing. · Communicate architectural decisions effectively across diverse technical and non-technical audiences. · Strong experience with Linux distributions such as RHEL. · Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar. · Hands-on experience with container technologies and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes/OpenShift and Podman. · Knowledge of AI frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow and experience integrating them into production systems. · Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis. · Familiarity with open-source development models, test-based development, and agile/scrum methodologies. · Previous experience with hardware acceleration (GPU, CUDA, ROCm) and Python packaging ecosystem is a plus. · Strong communication skills and ability to mentor and guide team members. · Competitive salary range: $189,600 – $312,730 USD, with eligibility for bonus, commission, and/or equity. · Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. · Flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care. · Health Savings Account for high-deductible medical plans. · 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. · Paid time off, holidays, and parental leave for all new parents. · Additional leave benefits including disability, paid family medical leave, and military leave. · Employee stock purchase plan, tuition reimbursement, transportation expense account, employee assistance program, and more.
