This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Development Engineer III in the United States. This role is designed for a highly experienced full stack software engineer who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You will take technical ownership of complex software projects, designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions while mentoring junior engineers. This position allows you to influence architecture decisions, contribute to the end-to-end development lifecycle, and ensure high-quality software delivery. Working closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers, you will help drive innovation and create impactful software solutions that meet user needs. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, a big-picture mindset, and hands-on experience with modern cloud-based technologies. Remote flexibility is available, with occasional on-site presence depending on location. Accountabilities: · Design, develop, and maintain full stack software applications using C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, React, and Azure Cloud technologies. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance micro-service architectures and back-end APIs supporting front-end and mobile applications. · Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices. · Debug and troubleshoot production issues, resolving software defects efficiently. · Participate in code reviews and Scrum ceremonies, providing constructive feedback and contributing to team knowledge sharing. · Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design diagrams, specifications, and development guidelines. · Mentor and support junior software engineers to foster growth and knowledge transfer. · Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and AI-driven software development practices. · Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. · 7+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on building scalable, high-quality applications. · Expertise in C# and .NET 6/8, with full stack development experience. · Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud or other cloud platforms. · Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar. · Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB. · Knowledge of Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum, and collaborative development practices. · Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. · Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. · Competitive salary range: $140,000 - $160,000/year (actual pay may vary by location, experience, and skills). · Fully remote work with occasional on-site requirements depending on geographic location. · Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. · Retirement plan with company contributions. · Generous paid time off and parental leave. · Mental health and wellness support programs. · Professional development opportunities and bonus programs.
