We are seeking an experienced software engineer to drive the development of advanced routing and navigation services. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate high-performance systems that power real-time guidance for a diverse set of customers, including automotive OEMs and niche clients. You will work on solving complex routing challenges, building scalable, low-latency services, and developing tools that enable creative navigation solutions. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency backend services for routing and navigation. Operate and optimize distributed systems with a focus on reliability, fault tolerance, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering best practices and service quality. Use experiments and data analysis to drive improvements in performance, reliability, and user experience. 5+ years of experience developing scalable, high-performance backend systems. Strong experience with modern C++ and Linux server applications, or equivalent expertise in Go, Rust, or JVM-based systems. Solid understanding of operating systems, distributed systems, fault tolerance, and service discovery. Proven problem-solving skills with a data-driven, experimental approach to engineering challenges. Ability to work across the full technology stack and adapt to new technical areas. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Nice to Haves: Experience with geospatial data, mapping, or traffic telemetry systems.
