We are seeking an innovative and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join a growing team dedicated to building next-generation spatial intelligence and wayfinding solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications that support customers’ accessibility, navigation, and sustainability goals. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional experts to architect high-impact features and deliver world-class user experiences. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain distributed cloud applications supporting wayfinding and spatial intelligence solutions. Write clean, testable, and scalable code, following best practices for performance and reliability. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver impactful new features. Diagnose, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure seamless product performance. Contribute to software architecture discussions, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in Agile development cycles and proactively communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders. Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. 5+ years of professional programming experience using JavaScript and TypeScript. Proficiency with microservice and event-driven architectures. Hands-on experience developing in cloud environments with Infrastructure as Code (AWS preferred). Strong front-end development skills using React or similar frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and automated testing practices. Experience with modern development tools such as Node.js, Yarn, git, and Figma. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical ideas clearly. Strong problem-solving, leadership, and mentorship capabilities. Experience working in Agile teams with a collaborative, results-driven mindset. Preferred: knowledge of geospatial technologies, interactive maps, cartography, or serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes).
