This role provides an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web and software applications in a collaborative, startup-minded environment. You will work on innovative solutions using a diverse technology stack, including Ruby on Rails, C#, Python, JavaScript, and Linux-based systems. You will have the autonomy to propose technical solutions, influence architecture, and participate in shaping the development process. Accountabilities: · Develop and maintain web and software applications using Ruby on Rails, C#, Python, JavaScript, and Linux-based systems. · Design and implement AJAX components and interactive user interfaces for dynamic web experiences. · Apply best practices in software engineering for performance, maintainability, and system stability. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. · Utilize version control systems such as Git and follow SDLC methodologies to ensure efficient development and deployment processes. · Contribute to innovative use of open-source software and scalable backend architectures. · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. · 5+ years of professional web development experience, with at least 3 years in languages such as Ruby on Rails, C#, Python, or PHP. · Strong experience with Linux development stacks and cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon EC2). · Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and JavaScript for full-stack development. · Experience with software design, architecture, and performance optimization. · Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
