This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (ISS7) in the United States. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise systems within a highly dynamic, remote-friendly environment. The Senior Software Engineer will work on mission-critical applications, ensuring seamless integration, robust security, and high reliability across systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, enhance system efficiency, and support long-term organizational objectives. The position emphasizes both technical expertise and strategic problem-solving, enabling you to contribute directly to the success of large-scale, high-impact software initiatives. Accountabilities · Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software solutions to support pension management and other mission-critical applications. · Ensure seamless integration across multiple systems, including APIs, databases, and infrastructure components. · Apply best practices in software development, security, and system design to enhance efficiency, reliability, and compliance. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, solve complex technical challenges, and implement effective solutions. · Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders, mentoring junior engineers when needed. · Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. · Maintain thorough documentation for system design, code, and operational procedures. · Minimum of six (6) years of experience in information systems development, OR equivalent education/experience combinations: o Associate’s degree + 4 years of experience, o Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of experience, o Master’s degree may substitute for experience requirements. · Strong expertise in software development with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. · Experience with SQL, stored procedures, and database management. · Solid understanding of system integration, APIs, and application infrastructure. · Knowledge of security best practices, secure coding principles, and regulatory compliance. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. · Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. · Experience in financial or pension systems development is preferred. · Ability to work remotely while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines. · Competitive salary range: $6,679 – $10,092 per month. · 100% remote work flexibility. · 11 paid holidays annually, plus paid time off and sick leave. · Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. · Parental, family caregiver leave, and adoption/fertility/surrogacy reimbursement up to $10,000. · Emergency backup care options. · Long-term, short-term disability, and life insurance coverage. · 401(k)/403(b) retirement plans with employer match. · Tuition assistance up to $5,250/year and professional development opportunities. · Student debt paydown program up to $10,000. · Access to certification reimbursement, CEUs, and ongoing skill development. · Pet insurance and legal resources plan. · Opportunity to earn discretionary annual bonuses based on eligibility. · Inclusive and diverse work environment supporting career growth and innovation.
