As a Senior Software Engineer - Mobile, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications that drive business value across enterprise systems. Working within an Agile framework, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and quality analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client and organizational objectives. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, optimize mobile architectures, and contribute to innovative projects across multiple mobile tech stacks. You will leverage your expertise in Android development while also exploring additional technologies such as MAUI or Flutter to support evolving business needs. Accountabilities: Design, code, test, implement, and enhance mobile applications according to Agile principles and industry standards. Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio, incorporating best practices like MVVM/MVI design patterns and Jetpack Compose. Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, JSON, and other web services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and system interfaces. Mentor and coach other team members, providing guidance on coding standards and mobile development best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies and assist in product reviews, feasibility studies, proofs of concept, and secure code reviews. Support production maintenance, monitor application performance, and implement improvements as needed. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience. 8+ years of experience in software development and programming. 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin. Strong knowledge of native Android development, Android SDK, Android Studio, coroutines, flow, and Jetpack Compose. Experience with mobile architecture, design patterns (MVVM/MVI), and source code management (Git). Familiarity with other programming languages and mobile stacks, including C#, .NET, C++, SQL, JavaScript, MAUI, or Flutter. Experience in Agile/SAFe environments and cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide others. Benefits: Competitive salary: $100,000–$156,000 based on experience and qualifications.
