This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile in the United States. We are seeking an experienced Mobile Software Engineer to drive the development of high-performance, native iOS applications in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This role focuses on architecting scalable mobile frameworks, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering exceptional user experiences for field technicians. The ideal candidate thrives on collaboration with product managers, designers, and backend engineers while mentoring team members and influencing the technical direction of mobile initiatives. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools to optimize workflows, improve code quality, and enhance application performance. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on a widely-used mobile platform, shaping both the architecture and the user experience. Accountabilities Lead the design, development, and optimization of native iOS applications using Swift. Architect scalable mobile frameworks and features supporting thousands of users daily. Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions. Integrate GraphQL to efficiently connect mobile clients with backend services. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Champion best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and mobile architecture. Utilize TCA and shared state management practices to improve app performance and maintainability. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 6+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on iOS. Expert-level proficiency in Swift and hands-on experience in architecting mobile applications or frameworks. Strong experience with GraphQL and integrating mobile apps with backend services. Knowledge of TCA for iOS applications and experience optimizing shared state. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred: Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, experience in technical leadership, SwiftUI, and regular use of AI-assisted development tools. Nice-to-have: Familiarity with MVI architecture patterns, CI/CD tools like Bitrise or GitHub Actions, and end-to-end automation testing.
