This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, iOS in the United States. As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications that deliver impactful digital healthcare experiences. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for members and healthcare providers. This hands-on role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and innovation, with opportunities to integrate AI-driven features and influence the architecture of mobile applications. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values quality software, cross-functional teamwork, and delivering measurable outcomes for users. Accountabilities In this role, you will: Develop, maintain, and enhance iOS mobile applications that provide members with world-class digital healthcare experiences. Dedicate 80–90% of your time to hands-on coding, mentoring junior engineers, and providing technical guidance. Lead complex projects by anticipating infrastructure and architectural needs, proposing innovative solutions, including AI-driven features. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centric applications. Write clean, well-tested code that ensures stability, maintainability, and scalability. Participate in full agile software development lifecycle activities, from concept and design to deployment. Research, adopt, and advocate for new technologies to continuously improve development practices and system performance. Candidates should have: 5+ years of professional experience in iOS application development. Strong proficiency in Swift, including its features and best practices. Experience designing scalable and maintainable app architectures. Solid understanding of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI, UIKit, CoreData, and CoreAnimation. Knowledge of design patterns like MVVM and MVC, and experience implementing them in production. Familiarity with service-oriented architectures, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL. Proficiency in unit testing using XCTest and UI testing frameworks. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Knowledge of the app submission process, app signing, and review guidelines. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset, with a willingness to adopt new technologies. Preferred Skills: Experience with Apple’s HealthKit framework and Apple Watch development. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and incorporating AI-driven features. Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries. Cross-platform development experience, including Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and hybrid platforms. Familiarity with Pact Testing and other testing frameworks.
