This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (iOS) in the United States. This role is ideal for a highly skilled iOS engineer passionate about building robust, user-focused mobile applications. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to develop high-quality software that enhances customer experiences. The position involves leading technical initiatives, shaping software architecture, and ensuring best practices in development, testing, and deployment. You will contribute to both team-level and department-wide engineering standards, while staying current on emerging technologies and industry trends. Accountabilities · Lead the development of iOS applications with an emphasis on clean, maintainable, and scalable code. · Participate in the full application lifecycle in collaboration with designers, product managers, and engineers. · Apply critical thinking, experimentation, and data-driven insights to implement user-centric solutions. · Facilitate team ceremonies, provide constructive feedback, and develop a shared engineering context. · Implement emergent architecture, design patterns (VIPER, MVVM), and best practices for software standards. · Collaborate with iOS, Android, and server teams to deliver features across platforms. · Research and stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends to improve products and processes. · 4+ years of professional software development experience. · Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Auto Layout, Storyboards, and Nibs/Xibs. · Experience making RESTful API calls and integrating with server-side systems. · Strong understanding of application design patterns, event-driven architecture, databases, and testing strategies. · Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and test-driven development (TDD). · Familiarity with JavaScript and frameworks like NodeJS or React is a plus. · Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, or related field. · Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and large-scale application troubleshooting is advantageous. · Comfortable with XP (Extreme Programming) practices and collaborative, team-based development. · Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. · Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. · Retirement savings plan with company match. · Flexible work arrangements with remote support. · Paid vacation, holidays, and wellness programs. · Opportunities for professional development and career growth. · Supportive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
