This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - IAM in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the next generation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, supporting secure, scalable, and developer-friendly access solutions. You will design, build, and enhance features for critical security systems, balancing compliance and user experience. Working with a talented team of engineers and security professionals, you will develop innovative solutions used across hundreds of internal services and tools. The role demands problem-solving skills, technical excellence, and collaboration, with the chance to influence high-impact security systems that support enterprise operations. You will engage directly with platform users, providing guidance and feedback to ensure robust and reliable solutions. Accountabilities: Design, develop, and maintain IAM platform features to meet security and compliance requirements. Build scalable, secure systems with modern cloud technologies and best practices. Write high-quality, thoroughly tested code, with a focus on Golang. Collaborate with engineers, security analysts, and leadership to define technical roadmaps and product vision. Serve as a point of contact for platform users, offering design input, debugging assistance, and support. Balance complex security requirements with ease-of-use for developers and administrators. Continuously improve platform architecture, deployment processes, and operational efficiency. Proven experience designing, building, and scaling production services in a service-oriented architecture. Strong coding skills and ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested software. Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure, security principles, and IAM best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration. Passion for developing mission-critical security controls and improving platform reliability. Experience in greenfield projects, IAM domain, or developer-focused platform products is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
