This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer I, Technical Lead in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to a cutting-edge conversational AI initiative designed to transform collaboration and productivity for Go-to-Market teams. As a Technical Lead, you will work on both frontend and backend systems, tackling complex technical challenges while delivering real customer impact. You will guide a small, high-performing team, influence technical decisions, and help shape the architecture and execution of the product. This position emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and hands-on coding, with an environment that values autonomy, psychological safety, and mentoring. Accountabilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of desktop and conversational AI applications. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions that meet customer needs. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a small team of engineers, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Write, review, and maintain high-quality code, ensuring best practices in software engineering. Solve complex technical and customer-facing problems, balancing trade-offs while acting decisively. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and optimization. Advocate for diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the team and contribute to a psychologically safe work culture. Proven experience as a senior software engineer with leadership responsibilities, ideally in small, agile teams. Proficiency in Java and familiarity with desktop application frameworks such as Electron, SwiftUI, or AppKit. Experience with CRM platforms, integrations, and collaborative or conversational user experiences. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic, data-informed decisions. Passion for writing and reading code, with a hands-on approach to technical leadership. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience mentoring and coaching engineers. Ability to thrive in a low-bureaucracy, dynamic environment and take ownership of projects end-to-end. Competitive annual cash compensation range: $157,600 – $236,400 USD.
