This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack - Capital One Software in the United States. We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a fully remote, innovative engineering team focused on building scalable, cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will lead technology projects and mentor developers while working across full stack systems, microservices, and modern cloud platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineering peers to deliver solutions that meet regulatory and business needs, helping millions of users achieve impactful results. Accountabilities · Lead a portfolio of diverse software projects and guide a team of developers to deliver high-quality, full stack solutions. · Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based systems that address regulatory and business requirements. · Mentor engineers, share best practices, and promote knowledge sharing within the engineering community. · Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, experiment with new tools, and contribute to internal and external technology communities. · Develop and maintain applications using languages like Python, Node, TypeScript, and integrate with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and container orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes. · Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability while following Agile practices and SDLC processes. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. · At least 3 years of experience in software engineering; 5+ years preferred in Python, Node, TypeScript, or Go. · Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. · Proficiency with open source frameworks and modern development practices. · Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams. · Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a growth mindset and ability to mentor others. · Experience in designing scalable, distributed applications and working with microservices architectures. · Competitive salary range: $144,200 - $164,600 (Remote, Principal Associate Senior Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer). · Performance-based incentive compensation including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. · Comprehensive health, financial, and wellness benefits supporting total well-being. · Fully remote work with flexibility and collaboration across distributed teams. · Opportunities for professional growth, learning, and technical mentorship. · Inclusive and diverse work environment promoting innovation, equity, and belonging.
