As a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, you will play a critical role in building a highly scalable, reliable platform that supports mission-driven healthcare services. You will lead initiatives to define and implement infrastructure and DevOps practices, ensuring the technology foundation is robust, secure, and adaptable for long-term growth. Accountabilities Champion the adoption of immutable containers, Infrastructure as Code, and stateless applications. Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting systems for applications and infrastructure. Maintain security standards and ensure timely patching through automation and integration of security practices into the SDLC. Drive improvements in code velocity and streamline engineering processes to enhance deployment efficiency. Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure. Establish best practices for incident response, disaster recovery, and operational excellence. Collaborate across teams to execute strategic initiatives and simplify complex technical processes. 7+ years of hands-on DevOps or Platform Engineering experience. Expertise in AWS or GCP cloud architecture, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and advanced networking (VPCs, load balancing, DNS). Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, Github Actions, and end-to-end testing principles. Experience with secrets management (Vault) and implementing security best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: experience with data infrastructure, ETL pipelines, AWS Aurora, Redis, Python programming, Crossplane, and SOC 2 compliance environments. Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and influence engineering practices across teams. Competitive base salary: $175,000 – $200,000 plus equity and benefits.
