This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer based in the United States. This is an opportunity for an experienced software engineer to help build and evolve innovative products across the full development lifecycle. You will contribute across backend and frontend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and the integration and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions. Working within an agile and collaborative environment, you will have meaningful influence over engineering decisions, product direction, and technical culture. The role combines hands-on development with technical ownership, problem-solving, and mentorship. You will work closely with business and product stakeholders to turn ideas into reliable, scalable, and business-critical functionality. This is a strong fit for a curious, creative engineer who enjoys learning, experimenting, and turning complex challenges into practical solutions. \n Accountabilities Design, develop, test, and maintain efficient, reliable, scalable, and production-ready software across frontend and backend systems. Contribute to the development of next-generation software products and identify opportunities for innovation and technical improvement. Work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement. Develop and maintain modern full-stack applications using technologies such as React, Node.js, and related frameworks. Integrate and deploy AI and machine learning capabilities within application products to deliver intelligent and differentiated solutions. Contribute to cloud-based systems and deployment processes, helping ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and secure. Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, develop solutions, and successfully launch new features. Take ownership of projects and drive them through completion while maintaining a strong focus on quality, usability, and delivery. Participate in defining technical direction, product vision, engineering practices, and team culture. Identify smart solutions to complex technical challenges and continuously explore emerging technologies and development approaches. Mentor other engineers throughout the product engineering lifecycle and contribute to knowledge sharing and team development. Experiment with new technologies, learn from failures, and continuously improve technical solutions and development processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline with at least 5 years of technical experience, or 8+ years of relevant technical experience, including military experience. At least 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar engineering role. Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js or comparable modern frontend and backend technologies. Experience integrating and deploying AI and machine learning technologies within software applications. Strong understanding of full-stack software development, application architecture, testing, and deployment practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a creative and practical approach to overcoming technical challenges. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and drive initiatives through completion. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, and other partners. A curious mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new technologies, learning continuously, and experimenting with innovative solutions. Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. Willingness to mentor teammates and contribute positively to engineering culture and technical standards. U.S. citizenship is required. Must be willing to submit to a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance process; an existing clearance is an advantage.
