This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and optimize web applications in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will work on cutting-edge technologies including .NET, React, and cloud platforms, while mentoring junior engineers and influencing technical direction. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex challenges, improve software performance and scalability, and contribute to innovative solutions that impact end-users and business outcomes. You will collaborate across teams, drive best practices, and help shape the future of software products in a fast-paced, high-growth setting. Accountabilities: · Develop and maintain web-based applications using technologies such as .NET, C#, Node, AngularJS, React, Redis, MS SQL, ElasticSearch, and AWS. · Perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of existing applications. · Optimize software quality, scalability, and performance while innovating on features, processes, and technology. · Conduct detailed code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers. · Participate in on-call rotations to provide escalated support when needed. · Communicate effectively with technical and management stakeholders. · Collaborate with teams to complete projects efficiently and drive continuous improvement initiatives. · 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of creating value through software development. · Expertise in HTML, CSS, C#, JavaScript, T-SQL, and frameworks like Angular and React. · Proficiency with source control systems such as GitHub. · Strong experience leading initiatives, working independently, and promoting productivity and efficiency in teams. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle and best practices for design, testing, and deployment. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills. · Base salary: $140,000 – $180,000, with total compensation determined by location, experience, and performance. · Paid time off and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. · Maternity and paternity leave, short- and long-term disability coverage. · Opportunity to learn from and collaborate with an experienced leadership team. · Flexible and dynamic work environment with a focus on professional growth. · Access to company swag and a vibrant team culture.
