This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Revenue Accounting Manager - REMOTE. This role is critical in ensuring compliant and accurate revenue recognition in line with GAAP standards. You will oversee technical accounting judgments and be instrumental in month-end close processes related to revenue. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Revenue Operations and Finance, this position not only demands technical expertise but also strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide a team of 3–5 direct reports. Your contribution will drive improvements in accounting processes and reporting. \n Accountabilities Own and oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities. Provide oversight and guidance to the Revenue Operations Lead. Establish and interpret revenue accounting policies and internal controls. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits. Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Billing on revenue-impacting initiatives. Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements. Support revenue-related financial reporting and management requests. Requirements Strong technical expertise in revenue recognition (ASC 606). Ability to translate complex accounting guidance into practical processes. Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring teams. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Experience in partnering with auditors and finance leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue or technical accounting roles. Prior People Leader experience is required. Strong ERP experience, with Workday preferred; CRM experience, with Salesforce preferred. Advanced Excel skills.
