Full Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager, Commercial Strategy & Innovation based in the United States. The Senior Project Manager, Commercial Strategy & Innovation will partner closely with senior leadership to coordinate strategic initiatives and drive cross-functional growth across consulting, communications, medical communications, payer solutions, data, AI, and technology. This hands-on role combines strategic operations, project management, account planning, and executive support. You will bring structure to complex priorities, ensure stakeholders remain aligned, and turn strategic discussions into clear decisions and measurable actions. By coordinating client opportunities, leadership activities, and enterprise pipeline visibility, you will help teams collaborate more effectively and advance integrated solutions. The ideal candidate combines exceptional organization with strategic thinking and the confidence to work independently in a fast-paced, senior stakeholder environment. This position offers the opportunity to influence business operations while contributing to innovative solutions that support the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. The role may be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States. \n Accountabilities: In this role, you will coordinate strategic priorities, strengthen collaboration across business functions, and ensure that key initiatives progress efficiently from planning to execution. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinate account planning for priority pharmaceutical clients, including executive meetings, quarterly business reviews, client touchpoints, follow-ups, and cross-functional planning. Manage senior leadership calendars and coordinate important leadership and client activities, prioritizing commitments, identifying key participants, and preparing agendas and materials that support effective decision-making. Maintain a forward-looking overview of account priorities, client milestones, proposal deadlines, leadership meetings, and cross-functional opportunities. Track the enterprise pipeline, account plans, opportunity stages, owners, next steps, follow-ups, and available revenue attribution across priority accounts. Identify stalled opportunities, scheduling conflicts, ownership gaps, and unresolved decisions, escalating issues proactively when necessary. Build a strong understanding of organizational capabilities and coordinate the involvement of relationship executives, subject-matter experts, solution leads, and delivery teams based on client needs. Support revenue reporting by coordinating cross-functional inputs and tracking opportunities, ownership, next actions, and available revenue attribution without owning revenue targets or decisions. Prepare stakeholders for strategic meetings by developing agendas, briefing documents, presentations, account updates, and recommended next steps. Help develop and implement repeatable account-planning tools, proposal processes, handoff workflows, governance models, and performance-tracking systems. Coordinate post-meeting follow-through and governance activities, documenting commitments, clarifying ownership, and ensuring action items progress to completion. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented project manager who can balance operational precision with a broader understanding of business strategy. You should be comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments, anticipating needs, and moving initiatives forward independently. Key qualifications include: At least 5 years of experience in project management, strategic operations, account management, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to work independently and coordinate complex initiatives involving senior stakeholders. Strong organizational and project-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through. A proactive, hands-on approach, with the judgment to anticipate needs, identify risks, resolve coordination gaps, and drive progress without constant direction. Strategic thinking skills, including the ability to connect individual meetings, client opportunities, and account plans to broader business growth objectives. Experience working collaboratively with senior leaders, client-facing teams, and multiple business functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft, synthesize, and refine executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, and account updates. Strong meeting coordination skills, including scheduling, stakeholder mapping, preparation, and real-time follow-through on client commitments. The ability to manage detailed operational tasks while maintaining visibility into strategic priorities and desired outcomes. An MBA or equivalent business experience is preferred. Benefits: Annual base salary of $90,000–$120,000 for candidates in the New York City metropolitan area. Remote work opportunity for candidates based anywhere within the United States. Location-adjusted compensation for employees based outside the New York City metropolitan area. Health care insurance to support employee health and well-being. Retirement plans. Generous paid time off and paid holidays. Wellness benefits and life insurance. Learning and professional development opportunities. Additional benefits and resources may be available depending on the employee’s location. A collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-focused work environment with opportunities to contribute to meaningful advances in healthcare. \n How Jobgether works: We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
