This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead large-scale, high-impact engineering projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Senior Project Engineering Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple teams while driving operational efficiency and innovation. You will apply advanced engineering principles, proactively solve complex challenges, and guide project teams to achieve strategic objectives. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, vendor partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Accountabilities In this role, you will: Lead the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to execution, monitoring, and post-project review. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation and proactive cost control. Create and maintain realistic project schedules, monitoring internal and external factors to ensure on-time delivery. Define and maintain project scope, preventing scope creep while keeping leadership informed of necessary changes. Guide multiple teams responsible for different project sections, providing leadership, coaching, and oversight. Develop and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders engaged and informed of project progress and potential issues. Promote a positive employee experience through team development, coaching, and collaboration. Candidates should have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, including 2+ years in team management or project leadership. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, operational design, and project management practices. Experience with installation and construction project scheduling, contract administration, and interpreting national codes and standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of engineering economics and ability to apply sound engineering judgment to complex problems. Willingness to travel up to 50% for collaboration across locations. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred skills: Knowledge of food processing and meat industry engineering principles. Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects with large scopes.
