This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer (React Native) in United States. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a mobile platform used by thousands of field professionals worldwide. You will design, build, and optimize mobile applications that handle large-scale media, offline workflows, and AI-assisted features. Working in a fast-paced, product-focused environment, you will collaborate closely with design, backend, and product teams to deliver reliable, performant, and user-friendly experiences. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and satisfaction of field teams while helping the company innovate in AI-driven inspection tools. This is a fully remote position, giving you autonomy while being part of a small, high-performing engineering team. Accountabilities: · Build and maintain React Native applications with a focus on performance, usability, and reliability. · Enhance offline capabilities and ensure seamless data synchronization in variable network conditions. · Implement media-heavy workflows, including camera integration, audio capture, and file storage. · Collaborate with design, backend, and product teams to translate requirements into functional features. · Manage real-time updates, background tasks, and edge cases encountered in the field. · Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives. · Ensure consistent user experience across Android and iOS devices. · 5+ years of mobile development experience, including 2+ years in React Native. · Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and offline-first design. · Experience with native modules on iOS/Android, camera access, and media capture. · Proficiency in state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand. · Familiarity with API integration, local storage, and mobile testing practices. · Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset. · Bonus: experience with JavaScript, native iOS/Android development, AI-driven interfaces, offline-first media workflows, and multilingual or accessible UI design. · Competitive monthly compensation in USD (typically $4K–$7K for senior roles, contractor model). · Flexible PTO plus local holidays. · Fully remote work with asynchronous collaboration. · Autonomy and ownership in a senior engineering team. · Long-term opportunity with a stable, profitable company that values clean code and real-world impact.
