This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Core Systems based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to shape and scale next-generation infrastructure across private and public cloud environments. You will architect and build robust systems spanning bare-metal, virtualization, containerization, and cloud-native technologies. Your work will directly support high-performance infrastructure serving large-scale, globally distributed workloads. You will drive automation, standardization, and operational excellence while improving reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. Working closely with infrastructure and platform teams, you will help modernize systems and strengthen observability and deployment practices. This is a highly technical role suited to an engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and building resilient systems at scale. \n Accountabilities: Research, architect, and deploy complex infrastructure platforms across bare-metal servers, hypervisors, orchestrators, virtual machines, and containerized environments. Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Consul to improve consistency, repeatability, and deployment speed. Establish infrastructure standards, technical documentation, and architecture diagrams that support scalability, reliability, and compliance. Collaborate with Technical Operations, CloudOps, and Platform teams to integrate infrastructure systems, streamline deployments, and strengthen observability. Optimize infrastructure resource allocation and operating costs while maintaining performance, availability, and uptime objectives. Lead initiatives focused on infrastructure resilience, scalability, modernization, and operational efficiency. Support proactive capacity planning and disaster recovery testing to improve preparedness and system continuity. Contribute to a culture of automation, reliability, continuous improvement, and strong engineering practices. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Datacenter Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field, with strong expertise in Linux/Unix systems. Proven experience designing and managing hybrid cloud and traditional infrastructure platforms at scale, including bare-metal, virtualized, and cloud-native environments. Hands-on expertise with automation, configuration management, and CI/CD technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Consul, and Jenkins. Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Grafana, ELK, VictoriaMetrics, or DataDog. Programming experience in at least one language such as Python, Go, or JavaScript. Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture principles, including scalability, redundancy, fault tolerance, resilience, and cost optimization. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and networking fundamentals across cloud and datacenter environments. Analytical and proactive approach to troubleshooting complex infrastructure challenges and delivering effectively in high-pressure situations. Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and operations teams.
