This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Hyperscale Solutions Engineer in the United States. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to drive the design, development, and implementation of large-scale data center solutions for hyperscale clients. You will engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements, lead complex solutioning, and collaborate across engineering, design, and operations teams to deliver world-class electrical and mechanical infrastructure. The position requires a balance of technical expertise, project leadership, and client engagement skills, ensuring solutions are innovative, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. As a senior engineer, you will influence both technical and strategic decisions, staying current with industry trends to guide long-term infrastructure planning. This role also involves mentoring colleagues, providing technical guidance, and contributing to the evolution of solutions that support high-performance, reliable, and secure data center environments. Accountabilities: Lead technical solutioning for hyperscale client requirements, focusing on electrical and mechanical systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, operations, and subject matter experts, to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions. Gather and analyze client technical requirements and translate them into actionable design and implementation plans. Prepare and communicate technical proposals and response packages to clients. Drive innovation by staying current with hyperscale industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Assist with capacity and space planning, as well as fit-out implementation in existing facilities. Support contract and lease reviews to ensure alignment with client and internal requirements. Mentor and guide other engineers, contributing to knowledge sharing and technical development. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field; professional engineer registration preferred. Proven experience in pre-sales support, design consulting, or construction within hyperscale or large data center environments. Deep knowledge of mechanical and electrical data center design concepts, including cooling, power redundancy, and security systems. Proficiency with technical software tools such as AutoCAD, CFD Modeling, Bluebeam, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to groups of varying sizes. Ability to work effectively in cross-team, multi-site, and remote environments. Comfortable engaging with third-party contractors and vendors, and developing bills of materials and scopes of work. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. Competitive base salary: $130,000 – $182,700 USD, with eligibility for commissions or sales incentive plans.
