This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior General Counsel - REMOTE. This role is pivotal as it involves overseeing the legal landscape of a multi-state healthcare management services organization. The General Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance to ensure compliance with various healthcare laws and regulations while managing enterprise risk. This position requires robust leadership skills and expertise in corporate governance, enabling the successful execution of legal strategies that support business objectives. The role also emphasizes collaboration across departments to foster effective governance and mitigate risks in a highly regulated environment. \n Accountabilities Serve as the chief legal advisor to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors on legal and risk-related matters. Own enterprise legal risk management and oversee regulatory compliance across multiple states. Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate and commercial agreements. Develop and maintain ARC’s compliance framework and policies. Advise leadership on regulatory inquiries and audit processes. Manage litigation strategy and dispute resolution, coordinating with outside counsel. Establish scalable legal templates and frameworks to support growth. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 10+ years of legal experience with a focus on healthcare law. Strong background in corporate governance and compliance. Experience with management services organizations (MSOs) and healthcare regulations. Ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable guidance. Proven leadership in risk management and external counsel oversight.
