This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Controller - REMOTE. In this role, you will take charge of financial reporting for a range of nonprofit clients, implementing best practices in accounting. You will lead a team, managing timely and accurate delivery of financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and fostering a collaborative environment. This position offers a significant opportunity to influence the financial health of various organizations while working in a fully remote setting, with occasional in-person meeting requirements. \n Accountabilities Develop and maintain best practice accounting principles for nonprofit clients. Supervise the Outsourced Accounting team and manage workload allocation. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations. Provide financial consulting services tailored to each client. Manage client relationships, providing insights and financial management advice. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Train and develop team members for effective service delivery. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred. 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably with nonprofit organizations. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience in financial data management and reporting. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
