This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Engineer, Full-Stack (Ruby on Rails) based in United States. This is an opportunity for a senior, backend-oriented full-stack engineer to take meaningful ownership of a growing B2B SaaS product. You’ll work across backend services, APIs, web applications, and mobile experiences while helping shape technical direction. The role combines hands-on engineering with product thinking, customer collaboration, and architectural decision-making. You’ll have the autonomy to take features from initial concept through production and ongoing improvement. Working within a small, fast-moving team, you’ll help solve complex problems while raising engineering standards. Your work will directly influence tools that help automotive professionals make faster, more informed business decisions. \n Accountabilities Build, maintain, and enhance the product across the technology stack, including Ruby on Rails backends, APIs, dealer-facing web applications, and React Native mobile applications. Own important architectural decisions and contribute to the long-term technical direction of the platform. Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain reliable backend and frontend features from concept through production. Contribute to APIs and SDKs that support the broader developer platform and enable integrations. Collaborate directly with customers and dealer groups to understand workflows, identify needs, and translate feedback into practical product improvements. Partner closely with product stakeholders to evaluate technical feasibility, provide delivery estimates, and shape feature development. Develop and maintain high-quality Ruby and JavaScript/TypeScript code using modern engineering practices. Create and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and external services. Use data and analytical thinking to evaluate product and technical decisions, balancing customer needs, engineering trade-offs, and business priorities. Help improve engineering practices and contribute technical guidance and mentorship within a collaborative, autonomous environment. Requirements 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production web applications with Ruby on Rails and RSpec. Strong proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and React, with React Native experience particularly valuable. Solid experience working with PostgreSQL and relational data models. Familiarity with designing, building, consuming, and maintaining REST APIs. Experience taking ownership of technical projects and making architectural decisions across a full-stack environment. Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools to improve development efficiency and productivity. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the judgment to ask the right questions when working through complex requirements. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to product, business, and customer stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously in a small, rapidly evolving team while collaborating effectively across functions. Experience with React Native or other mobile development is a plus. Exposure to GraphQL and experience with B2B SaaS products are advantageous. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Benefits Annual compensation of $120,000–$130,000. Remote work opportunity for candidates located anywhere in the United States. 401(k) plan with a 5% employer match. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. Paid holidays and paid time off. Paid parental leave. Monthly allowance to support work-related needs and expenses. Occasional travel may be required, including team planning activities. Opportunity to work with a small, fast-moving team where engineers have significant ownership and influence over product and technical direction. \n How Jobgether works: We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
