This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Deep Learning Software Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles in the United States. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advance deep learning solutions for autonomous vehicles. You will design, train, optimize, and deploy perception deep neural networks (DNNs) while working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge AI into automotive platforms. The position involves developing novel deep learning architectures, fine-tuning models for low-precision inference, and improving speed, accuracy, and energy efficiency. You will collaborate directly with partners and internal teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions that enhance autonomous driving systems. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about AI, machine learning, and the future of self-driving technologies. Accountabilities: · Train, fine-tune, and optimize perception DNNs for deployment on automotive platforms. · Apply quantization and low-precision techniques (FP16/INT8) to improve inference performance and power efficiency. · Develop and refine deep learning architectures using modern ML algorithms. · Implement and experiment with new research insights to enhance DNN accuracy and robustness. · Collaborate with architecture, software, and partner teams to integrate solutions effectively. · Ensure high-quality code, modular design, and adherence to best practices for deep learning software development. · MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Computer Architecture, or equivalent technical experience. · 5+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years working with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, ONNX, etc.). · Hands-on experience with computer vision tasks such as object detection, segmentation, or scene parsing using DNNs. · Strong programming skills in Python and/or C/C++. · Solid understanding of CPU/GPU architectures, numeric libraries, containers (e.g., NVIDIA Docker), and modular software design. · Familiarity with CNNs, Transformer architectures, and DNN optimization techniques. · Strong analytical, time-management, and organizational skills to coordinate multiple initiatives in complex projects.
