This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Debugger Software Engineer in the United States. This role provides an opportunity to shape the future of developer tools used globally in automotive, VR, gaming, AI, and high-performance computing. The Senior Debugger Software Engineer will design, develop, and enhance compute debugger tools and libraries across multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, and embedded real-time operating systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create advanced debugging and performance analysis capabilities that accelerate software development for cutting-edge technologies. The role combines hands-on coding with strategic design, mentoring, and interaction with research and product teams. This position allows you to work on high-impact projects that improve developer productivity and help bring next-generation hardware and software solutions to market. Candidates will gain exposure to complex GPU architectures, parallel computing, and high-performance system software. Accountabilities: · Architect, design, and implement new features for compute debugger tools and integrate them into existing developer tools. · Collaborate with research, libraries, and product teams to identify features that enhance developer efficiency and productivity. · Develop and maintain debugger tools for GPUs on Linux, Windows, and embedded operating systems. · Document requirements, designs, and provide peer reviews on performance, scalability, and correctness. · Estimate, prioritize, and deliver tasks in alignment with project timelines and objectives. · Mentor junior engineers and support the growth of a high-performing engineering team. · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. · 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, system software, or developer tools. · Strong programming skills in C, C++, Assembly Language, and scripting languages such as Python. · Solid understanding of computer architecture, parallel computing, and system software. · Ability to self-manage, communicate effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. · Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in distributed, collaborative teams.
