This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer in the United States. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing advanced data infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration across marketing and analytics platforms, supporting business intelligence and automation initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to directly influence technical strategy and data architecture while working with cutting-edge tools in cloud environments. Accountabilities: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines leveraging tools such as dbt and BigQuery. Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the data lifecycle. Manage multiple data pipelines supporting marketing analytics and client reporting systems. Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency across multiple environments and sources. Utilize test-driven development practices to optimize performance and reliability of data systems. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data architecture and engineering standards. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience. 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields. Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in relational databases and data warehousing. Strong hands-on experience with dbt and cloud databases such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift. Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory). Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong understanding of marketing data, KPIs, and business intelligence concepts. Experience with API integrations, version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab), and data visualization tools is a plus. Previous experience in an advertising, media, or analytics environment is highly desirable. Competitive salary range of $102,000 – $125,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
