This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer in the United States. This role provides a high-impact opportunity to shape enterprise-wide data capabilities in a fast-paced technology environment. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows that enable AI, ML, and analytics solutions across diverse data sources. Collaborating closely with architecture, analytics, ML engineering, and product teams, you will translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. The position emphasizes innovation, data quality, and performance optimization while ensuring compliance and security standards are met. You will contribute to cutting-edge projects, troubleshoot production issues, and help advance the organization’s data engineering practices. Success in this role requires both strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise, with opportunities to influence AI and data-driven initiatives enterprise-wide. \n Accountabilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing across structured and unstructured data sources Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ensure efficient ingestion, transformation, and delivery to data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse environments Collaborate with data architecture, analytics, ML engineering, and product teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions Implement data quality checks, validation logic, and automated monitoring for accurate, complete, and reliable datasets Utilize cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and distributed computing frameworks (Spark) to create high-performance data systems Maintain metadata, data lineage, and documentation to support transparency, governance, and compliance Optimize data storage, compute, and pipeline performance for efficiency and cost reduction Apply security and access controls for sensitive data in accordance with policies and regulations Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes Continuously evaluate new tools, technologies, and patterns to enhance data engineering capabilities Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, software engineering, or similar roles 5+ years of programming experience in Python for building and automating data pipelines and analytics data stores Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Matillion, HVR, Fivetran, or Qlik Replicate 3+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS and/or Azure) Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and schema design Understanding of data governance, lineage, quality frameworks, and metadata management Experience in production-ready AI data pipelines, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data preparation Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub), Agile tools (Jira, Confluence), and collaborative development workflows Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Benefits: Competitive salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD, depending on experience Flexible schedule with options for 9/80, 4x10, or custom arrangements Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability benefits Paid time off including holidays, sick leave, and parental leave 401(k) plan with matching contributions Professional development opportunities through certifications, degrees, and training programs Reward and recognition programs Exposure to cutting-edge AI, ML, and enterprise data projects Collaborative and supportive team environment \n Why Apply Through Jobgether?
