This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst in the United States. The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. This position combines technical expertise, business understanding, and leadership to turn complex data into actionable insights. The role involves designing and maintaining data pipelines, performing descriptive and inferential analyses, creating dashboards and reports, and mentoring other analysts. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, has a strong grasp of statistical methods and analytics tools, and can translate data into strategic business recommendations that enhance operational performance, customer experience, and market growth. Accountabilities · Conduct exploratory, descriptive, and inferential analyses to uncover insights about products, processes, customers, and market trends. · Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows for data integration and transformation. · Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports, providing training and guidance to business teams on their use and interpretation. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions to complex problems. · Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability by implementing rigorous quality and validation checks. · Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior analysts and data scientists, promoting best practices in data analytics. · Continuously develop domain expertise to inform strategic decisions and support business objectives. · Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a closely related field. · 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in consumer finance or related industries. · Proficiency with data tools and visualization platforms (e.g., SQL, Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Snowflake). · Experience with programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) and data cleaning. · Preferred: experience with experimental design, inferential statistics, predictive modeling, and distributed computing (e.g., Apache Spark, pySpark, Snowpark). · Strong analytical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate insights into business recommendations. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience mentoring and guiding team members. · Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain data integrity, and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements. · Flexible work environment, including remote work eligibility. · Comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision). · Paid time off, sick leave, and paid parental leave. · Retirement plans with employer match. · Professional development opportunities, including training and certifications. · Supportive, collaborative, and mission-driven organizational culture.
