This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer based in the United States. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will transform complex and high-volume data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. You will design and optimize BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, data models, and analytical applications. The role partners closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. You will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, consistency, reliability, and usability across business intelligence deliverables. Your analysis and visual storytelling will help communicate important trends and recommendations to senior and executive leadership. This is a fully remote role suited to an independent, analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative and data-driven environment. \n Accountabilities: Design, develop, maintain, and optimize business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, data models, and applications. Transform complex datasets into meaningful business intelligence that supports strategic and operational decision-making. Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights. Develop clear and impactful data visualizations for technical stakeholders, business leaders, and executive audiences. Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical and analytical solutions. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and reliability across BI deliverables and reporting outputs. Investigate and resolve moderately complex to highly complex analytical and technical challenges using independent judgment. Optimize existing BI solutions to improve performance, usability, scalability, and overall business value. Work with large and complex datasets within a sophisticated organizational and healthcare data environment. Support strategic initiatives by delivering accurate analysis, reporting, and decision-support tools. Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams while communicating complex analytical findings in a clear and accessible manner. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in business intelligence engineering, analytics, or a related technical role. Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis, transformation, and querying. Expert-level experience developing visualizations, reports, and applications using Power BI and Power Apps. Advanced experience working with large, complex datasets in enterprise environments. Experience working with healthcare-related data and an understanding of relevant regulatory and data privacy considerations. Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical analysis into clear business insights. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage complex assignments with limited supervision. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across technical and business functions. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience with Python or other programming languages is preferred. Knowledge of DevOps practices within business intelligence environments is an advantage. Experience with cloud technologies such as ASA and/or Databricks is preferred. Previous delivery of analytics solutions within healthcare or related domains is a plus. Ability to work remotely from a dedicated, interruption-free environment that protects sensitive member and healthcare information. Reliable home internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds is required for remote work. Preference may be given to candidates residing in Louisville, Kentucky. Occasional travel to company offices for training or meetings may be required. Benefits: Annual base salary range of $89,000–$121,400 USD, with individual compensation based on location, skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
