The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs and technical solutions, ensuring projects deliver measurable value while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This position involves collaborating closely with stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to executives, to gather, analyze, and document requirements for complex projects. You will facilitate cross-functional communication, contribute to project planning, and support development teams through design, implementation, and testing phases. The role also includes mentoring junior analysts and promoting best practices across the organization. Exposure to healthcare workflows and high-risk data (PHI) is part of the environment, emphasizing both responsibility and impact. Accountabilities • Gather, analyze, and negotiate business requirements to ensure solutions meet real needs and minimize defects. • Manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and agreement on project deliverables. • Collaborate with project sponsors, end-users, and development staff to perform assignments and obtain sign-offs. • Assist in project planning, including defining methods, processes, tasks, and schedules. • Support design, development, unit testing, and implementation through walkthroughs and requirement updates. • Provide end-user training and ongoing support, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Mentor junior staff and collaborate across disciplines and departments to drive continuous improvement. • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a Project Management Organization. • Expertise in business analysis, system analysis, and project management, with knowledge of Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile methodologies. • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, and technical skills. • Ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and creativity to anticipate business needs and identify process improvements. • Knowledge of healthcare industry workflows, especially claims processing, is a plus. • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to evolving priorities. • Competitive salary range: $105,000 – $115,000, based on education, experience, skills, and work location. • Health, dental, and vision insurance with low deductibles and copays. • Life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage. • Paid parental leave. • 401(k) plan with company match. • Employee Stock Purchase Plan. • Generous Paid Time Off (accrued with tenure) and 10 paid company holidays. • Tuition reimbursement and Flexible Spending Accounts. • Employee Assistance Program and sick time benefits.
