This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer in the United States. In this role, you will act as a key bridge between complex data systems and the decision-makers who rely on them, transforming raw data, evaluation outputs, and machine learning insights into actionable, policy-ready information. You will lead the design and delivery of data models, dashboards, and analytics solutions that influence strategic decisions across multiple domains. The position requires both technical expertise and a strong understanding of data visualization, enabling you to create impactful insights for stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics pipelines are performant, scalable, and maintainable. This is a high-impact role that combines analytics engineering, BI leadership, and mentorship, allowing you to shape best practices, build reusable frameworks, and drive organizational efficiency. \n Accountabilities: Lead and manage analytics engineering projects, including dbt models, semantic layers, and versioned transformations across multiple domains. Develop and govern reusable metrics, star schemas, and conformed dimensions optimized for BI platforms like Power BI. Design and deliver executive-ready dashboards with strong UX, accessibility, and visual storytelling capabilities. Translate complex methods and ML outputs into actionable insights for stakeholders. Implement quality assurance, validation, and governance standards for analytics and dashboards. Develop training, coaching, and reusable accelerator packages to enable analytics and BI best practices organization-wide. Collaborate with Data Platform Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure data pipelines are analytics-ready and performant. Requirements: 5–8 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Lead, or similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and dbt (models, tests, macros, documentation, CI/CD). Mastery of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, semantic models, dataflows, RLS, and deployment pipelines. Experience in data modeling, dimensional design, and performance tuning. Ability to present analytics solutions effectively and incorporate stakeholder feedback. Strong Git workflows, code review, and documentation practices. Preferred: experience in public health, Medicaid/Medicare domains, ML integration into dashboards, Python/R for analysis, familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake), and experience with BI training or design systems.
