This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer – BI & Data Visualization in the United States. In this role, you will translate complex data systems into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making for stakeholders. You will design, build, and maintain advanced analytics pipelines, semantic models, and executive dashboards that communicate findings effectively. This position blends analytics engineering, data visualization leadership, and ML interpretability to deliver high-impact insights across multiple domains. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, governance, and usability while developing scalable templates and best practices for organization-wide adoption. The role provides an opportunity to shape analytics strategy, mentor colleagues, and advance the organization’s capabilities in data-driven decision-making. \n Accountabilities: Develop and maintain dbt projects, semantic models, data contracts, and reusable metrics across various domains. Build star schemas and conformed dimensions optimized for BI tools, including RLS and deployment pipelines. Lead the design, development, and delivery of executive-ready dashboards with strong UX and accessibility standards. Translate complex analysis, ML outputs, and evaluation results into actionable, policy-ready visualizations. Implement rigorous validation, BI QA, and performance monitoring to ensure reliable, high-quality outputs. Maintain centralized metrics catalogs, semantic dictionaries, and visualization standards. Provide training, workshops, and coaching to enable analytics best practices across teams. Requirements: 5–8 years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, or related roles. Proficiency in SQL and dbt, including models, tests, macros, documentation, and CI/CD. Mastery of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, semantic models, dataflows, RLS, deployment pipelines). Strong data modeling, dimensional design, and performance tuning skills. Experience presenting analytics solutions and incorporating stakeholder feedback. Familiarity with Git workflows, code review processes, and documentation standards. Preferred: experience in public health, Medicaid/Medicare, ML integration into dashboards, Python/R, AWS data sources, Databricks/Snowflake, or FHIR-to-analytics frameworks.
