This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior AI/ML Research Engineer in the United States. In this role, you will apply advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to develop innovative cybersecurity solutions. Working with exclusive datasets, you will leverage technologies such as graph neural networks, transformers, and LLMs to analyze data and build high-impact tools. You will collaborate closely with product and research teams, turning prototypes into practical solutions that protect customer data in real-world scenarios. Ideal candidates are creative problem-solvers, deeply knowledgeable in AI/ML, and passionate about delivering practical, scalable solutions. \n Accountabilities: Apply state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques to develop cybersecurity solutions addressing complex real-world challenges. Work with proprietary datasets to build, test, and deploy models that detect, prevent, and mitigate threats. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to translate prototypes into production-ready systems. Contribute to research initiatives, keeping the team at the forefront of AI/ML and cybersecurity innovations. Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and mentorship to elevate the team’s capabilities. Communicate results and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience in AI/ML research or applied engineering roles, preferably in cybersecurity or related domains. Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face libraries. Solid understanding of LLMs, transformers, embeddings, probability theory, and related AI technologies. Experience with building RAG pipelines, AI agents, or similar LLM applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical mindset for real-world applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Preferred: Ph.D. or significant research contributions, publications, or presentations in AI/ML or cybersecurity.
