This role offers the opportunity to maintain and enhance the security telemetry infrastructure that supports real-time threat detection and incident response. You will work on building scalable, resilient systems that provide continuous visibility into security events across cloud and on-prem environments. The position emphasizes operational excellence, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will help ensure the reliability and performance of observability platforms, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to security data pipelines that empower incident response and threat detection. Accountabilities Design, build, and enhance data pipelines integrated with SIEM platforms. Plan, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security telemetry infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. Automate manual processes to improve team efficiency and platform reliability. Monitor security observability platforms and respond to operational incidents promptly. Collaborate with multiple business units to ensure effective security telemetry delivery. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning. Document procedures, standards, and best practices. Stay current with emerging security trends, technologies, and best practices. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering roles, focusing on enterprise-grade solutions. Industry certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or Security+. Experience managing infrastructure in cloud or hybrid environments. Hands-on experience with Linux administration. Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) or experience developing against REST APIs. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
