As a Sales Director, you will lead strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand market presence within the retail and CPG sectors. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating senior-level client relationships, and positioning innovative in-store media solutions to maximize business impact. This role combines leadership of a high-performing sales team with hands-on engagement in consultative selling and strategic account management. You will collaborate across marketing, operations, and client teams to ensure campaign success, provide accurate forecasting, and optimize performance metrics. Your expertise will directly influence market penetration, client satisfaction, and overall sales performance. \n Accountabilities: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across assigned CPG accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders to influence business decisions. Collaborate with retail partners to implement in-store media solutions, ensuring alignment with marketing, merchandising, and operational strategies. Lead, mentor, and manage Campaign Managers and Account Managers to deliver exceptional sales results. Own the sales pipeline, prepare and present proposals, and maintain accurate sales forecasting through CRM tools. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategic initiatives. Represent the organization at industry events, tradeshows, and client meetings, promoting solutions and driving engagement. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 6+ years of sales experience with a focus on Retail/CPG and marketing services solutions. Proven record of achieving top-line revenue and bottom-line targets through consultative, data-driven selling. Strong knowledge of brand, retail, shopper marketing, and retail media landscapes. Exceptional skills in negotiation, strategic selling, account management, and sales forecasting. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop talent, and manage multi-million-dollar sales opportunities. Superior analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
