This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Windows Systems Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for a large enterprise Windows environment, contributing to the deployment of virtualized Windows servers. Your impact will extend to ensuring the operational availability of systems, supporting high-availability applications, and mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on vital IT operations that support government initiatives, allowing for personal and professional growth. \n Accountabilities Design, develop, and deploy Windows servers in a virtualized environment. Support high availability web applications hosted on Windows servers. Develop deployment packages using PowerShell. Support migration of Windows workloads from on-premise to the cloud. Engage in implementing DevOps practices for IT support. Monitor and ensure the operational availability of hosted systems. Mentor junior technical staff. Requirements 5+ years of experience in Windows Server Engineering & Administration. Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V. Experience with PowerShell scripting; knowledge of ANSIBLE is a plus. Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Services. Agile and DevOps methodologies experience.
