This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will conduct research and create designs for innovative computer and network software solutions. Your contributions will have a significant impact as you apply your advanced knowledge of Computer Science principles to build effective software applications. You will work collaboratively with distributed teams, driving tasks to completion while identifying improvement opportunities in our software development processes. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards and delivering robust code. This is a remote position that allows you to work from anywhere. \n Accountabilities Design, develop, operate, optimize, and maintain microservices in a distributed architecture. Write high-quality, maintainable code with tests. Develop feasible solutions to complex problems. Take ownership of projects and drive tasks to completion. Identify and implement improvements to software and development processes. Conduct peer design and code reviews. Collaborate with distributed teams across various time zones. Provide dedicated production support for features and applications. Requirements Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. At least one year of post-degree experience in a related position. Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, Python, JavaScript, or Java. Experience with frameworks like VueJS, Express, Node, React, or Django. Knowledge of Solr deployment. Experience developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Familiarity with cloud platforms. Understanding of caching technologies. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and conducting code reviews. Knowledge of Version Control Systems. Benefits Work from Home (WFH) benefit available.
