This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Insurance Program Manager. The Insurance Program Manager will play a crucial role in designing and administering commercial property/casualty insurance and self-insurance programs. This role entails working closely with university leadership and risk managers to identify risks and develop effective risk mitigation strategies. The successful candidate will be a central figure in presenting insurance solutions and managing program coverages that align with contractual obligations. Additionally, this position fosters collaboration across various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive risk management. \n Accountabilities Design and oversee the commercial property/casualty insurance and self-insurance programs. Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer and insurance brokers to assess insurance coverage needs. Identify potential risks and advise leadership on risk management strategies. Lead insurance efforts during acquisitions and advocate for favorable contractual insurance requirements. Ensure alignment of insurance coverages with organizational needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree required. 6+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred insurance designations such as CPCU, ARM, or AU. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. High regard for confidentiality and strong work ethic. Experience with insurance policy forms and underwriting practices. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and relevant computer systems.
