This role is critical in leading corporate development initiatives that have a transformative impact on growth strategies in the biopharmaceutical sector. The Executive Director will drive valuation, structure transactions, and forge strategic partnerships that align with long-term objectives. Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships and key transactions. Develop and maintain a pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with long-term objectives. Work collaboratively to support long-range planning and financial assessments. Spearhead post-deal analysis and implementation of key learnings. Serve as a thought partner to the executive team in value creation efforts. Mentor and develop a corporate development team, fostering a collaborative environment. Represent the company externally at industry conferences and with potential partners. Requirements 10-15 years experience in corporate/business development in the biotech/pharma industry. Proven track record in leading and closing late-stage and commercial stage transactions. Extensive knowledge of financial analysis and valuation methodologies. MBA or other advanced degree; scientific degree is a plus. Entrepreneurial mindset, highly driven and hands-on. Excellent communication skills for engagement with C-level executives.
