The role of the Senior Director of Product Development is crucial in leading the strategy, development, and commercialization of innovative products in the wire and cable sector. This position supports growth within key telecom and multimedia markets, overseeing cross-functional teams dedicated to designing, testing, and launching products. Lead regional engineering and R&D teams responsible for new product design and innovation. Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization. Partner with commercial and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility. Drive innovation in materials, performance, and sustainability. Oversee technical standards and product quality compliance. Manage product development budgets and project timelines. Identify market opportunities and emerging technologies. Requirements Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering or related technical field. 12–15+ years in product development, preferably in cable or electrical manufacturing. Proven leadership experience managing large technical teams. Strong understanding of product standards and commercialization.
