This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Benefits Manager (Remote). In this pivotal role, you will oversee the employee benefits program and manage a dedicated Benefits Team. Your leadership will be essential in developing and implementing a comprehensive benefits package tailored to meet the diverse needs of the team. You'll monitor policy compliance and stay ahead of industry changes to ensure our offerings are top-notch and legally compliant. Your expertise will directly impact employee satisfaction and the overall effectiveness of the benefits program. \n Accountabilities Administer health, welfare, and retirement benefits programs, managing processes, billing, deductions, and leave. Ensure compliance with industry regulations including ERISA and the Affordable Care Act. Communicate benefit program features and options clearly to employees and management. Oversee vendor relationships including insurance and pension brokers. Resolve benefit-related issues and respond to inquiries promptly. Evaluate current benefit programs and recommend improvements. Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of contributions and deductions. Maintain records and reports in compliance with regulations. Ensure plan documents are accurate and up to date. Monitor compliance with all laws and regulations regarding benefits. Lead and develop a high-performing Benefits Team. Requirements HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive benefits experience required. Experience in regulated fields and multi-site environments preferred. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits. Familiarity with benefits administration, change management, and HRIS systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex situations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency with productivity software (MS Office) and HRIS platforms.
