Achieve budgeted revenue and profit goals. Develop and execute customer engagement strategies; schedule face-to-face meetings and attend industry events. Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by staying informed on supply and demand trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Assist customers with forecasting and reporting movements of products. Partner with grocery retailers and evaluate new business opportunities. Engage with customers to foster long-term relationships, resolve issues, and secure agreements. Develop and execute trial programs to drive adoption and long-term conversion. Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Procurement to align strategic initiatives. Conduct in-person visits, participate in trade events, and drive field-level execution with ~60% travel. Monitor performance through sales reports, forecasts, and budget reviews, adjusting plans as necessary. Ensure Salesforce is updated weekly with accurate data on opportunities, activities, and pipeline status. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or new business development. Background in the packaging and food supply chain industries. Proficient in Salesforce and other CRM tools. Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs, negotiate effectively, and close new business. Strong communication skills for collaboration and customer engagement, including face-to-face interactions. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Quick thinker with strong decision-making skills and prompt issue resolution. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse customers and stakeholders.
