This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Quantitative Analyst, Credit Strategy in the United States. The Quantitative Analyst will play a critical role in shaping credit strategy, risk management, and portfolio optimization for lending products. This position combines analytical rigor, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making to support the development of credit policies and strategies that drive profitability and minimize risk. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, experience with SQL, Python, and business intelligence tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and data science, to deliver innovative solutions, perform rigorous testing, and continuously enhance portfolio performance. This is a fast-paced environment where independence, problem-solving, and accountability are key, offering the opportunity to directly influence financial outcomes and credit strategy initiatives. Accountabilities: Design, test, and refine credit strategies, underwriting rules, and decisioning models across consumer and commercial lending portfolios. Conduct data analysis on credit performance, borrower behavior, and portfolio trends using SQL, Python, and BI tools. Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor credit risk metrics, delinquency, loss rates, and profitability. Partner with product and operations teams to execute A/B tests and measure the impact of new credit policies or borrower segments. Collaborate with data science teams to integrate new risk models and ensure alignment with credit policy and regulatory requirements. Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management, risk committees, and cross-functional teams. Build automated workflows and analytical tools to improve efficiency in reporting and decision-making. 1–3 years of relevant experience in analytical projects, preferably in the financial services industry. Strong understanding of retail and small business loan products, including unsecured loans and credit cards. Familiarity with credit strategies, risk management, pricing, and profitability drivers across the customer life cycle. Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience designing and implementing A/B tests and conducting predictive analytics. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Ability to manage stakeholders, prioritize work, and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
