This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise insurance software systems. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and project stakeholders to test and validate applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless functionality for internal and external users. The position emphasizes manual QA testing, SQL data validation, and an understanding of complex insurance processes. You will design test plans, execute test cases, and contribute to the overall improvement of software quality. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel for team meetings and training. Accountabilities Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. Perform ad-hoc testing and validate data using SQL to ensure accuracy and system integrity. Troubleshoot system issues in both test and production environments, identifying root causes and reporting defects. Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to communicate findings and ensure issues are resolved. Understand business processes and insurance workflows to anticipate potential system failures. Assist in documenting testing processes, creating reproducible test scenarios, and supporting knowledge sharing across the team. 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst in the property and casualty insurance space. Hands-on experience with test case management tools and manual QA processes. Familiarity with API testing, JSON, XML, and other data formats. Proficient in SQL and capable of performing data validation and analysis. Technical experience with .NET/C#/SQL Server or similar technology stacks. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience. Reliable high-speed internet and a designated quiet workspace for remote work.
