This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Manager in the United States. In this role, you will lead complex, high-impact projects that directly support government and defense operations. You will coordinate across multiple teams, stakeholders, and government representatives to ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope. This position requires strategic planning, risk management, and effective communication to deliver technical solutions and sustainment services. You will play a key role in overseeing schedules, budgets, and task order execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on high-quality project delivery and continuous improvement. Accountabilities: Lead and manage large, complex task orders, ensuring all project objectives, schedules, and technical requirements are met. Coordinate with Contracting Officers, Task Order Managers, and government representatives to align project deliverables with contractual obligations. Provide guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices. Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, schedules, and risk assessments. Support the Program Manager in strategic planning and decision-making for task order execution. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent nationally recognized certification. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with progressively higher responsibility in IT and/or consulting environments. 5 years of leadership experience managing teams and coordinating complex initiatives. Experience in IT sustainment services and familiarity with MEBS tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Project Management tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
